Head of Software Development / Senior .NET Developer – SQL Server, CSS, JavaScript London NW4 £50,000 - £70,000
With a vision of changing the mobile phone industry’s approach to used phones, our client is reputable for providing seamless and fully-integrated trade-in and buyback service solutions to mobile network providers and manufacturers. Due to rapid growth they are now looking to recruit a Head of Software Development / Senior .NET Developer (SQL Server, CSS, JavaScript) to play an instrumental part in their expansion.
Our client is growing fast and still developing and deploying its core product, a collection of front end solutions that facilitate the recycling of mobile phones. In this role you will play a key role, making this the ideal position for a talented candidate with the desire and commercial awareness to really make a difference to a company in its formative stage.
As well as developing the software platform for existing contracts, as the Head of Software Development / Senior .NET Developer you will be instrumental in translating key contract wins over the next year into commercial wins, enabling the business to become a market leading player in a multi billion pound space.
Currently most development is outsourced and although this outsourcing will continue, you will also be responsible for building an in-house team to deliver a significant portion of the required development work, and you will be solely accountable for co-ordinating in-house and outsourced work.
To succeed as the Head of Software Development / Senior .NET Developer you must have extensive .NET development experience, at a senior level. Your all-round technical skills will enable you to produce good system design solutions, to estimate accurately the effort required and to enable you effectively to project manage the solutions.
You must also have:
- expert SQL Server knowledge - good knowledge of web services - good knowledge of client side technology including CSS, JavaScript and cross browser compatibility - sound educational grounding in Computer Science
Additionally, as the Head of Software Development / Senior .NET Developer you must be able to demonstrate the delivery of a wide spectrum of consistently high quality applications both individually and as a team leader.
