This role will involve working closely with one of our client’s web partners, one of the UK’s leading innovative web development companies.
Joining their Global Web Services team, as a Developer / Programmer you’ll be responsible for working on the company’s CMS system – the backbone of their global web services which runs their marketing portals, partner extranet portals, and group intranet.
Your responsibilities will include:
- developing new and enhanced functionality to the CMS modular system – including scripting in XSL, CSS and PHP - working with the UK web development team to ensure inhouse project work achieves high standards - providing accurate reports to the Lead Web Software Developer on project progress
To succeed as the Developer / Programmer you must have solid software development experience, excellent coding skills, and experience in the following:
- Linux and Apache - MySQL - XML - XSL and XSLT - XHTML/CSS - PHP & OOP - AJAX - JavaScript
Experience in any of the following would be beneficial to your application: Java, SOAP, Design Patterns.
